HELP! login.php would not work after the site is moved to a new host

I moved my site a new host. The only problem I have now is that the login.php would not work.

 

The user should be directed to account.php page after login.php verifies the information the user entered. However the user still sees the login.php page with no error messages while the password field becomes empty.

 

It seems that the server would not create the sessions according to the login.php , which would direct the user to account.php.

 

The tech support from the host could not give much help.

 

I would appreciate any help from this board.
