Hide out of stock product

I was just wondering, if there is a contribution which allows you to automatically hide products that are out of stock?

Don't know if this is what you're looking for but I asked a similar question a few days ago and here was the reply...

 

"Go to Admin -> Configuration -> Stock and make the following settings:

 

Check stock level true

Subtract stock true

Allow Checkout false

Mark product out of stock out of stock

Stock Re-order level 0

 

This setting makes the products status inactive automatically whenever the quantity drops to 0. "

 

When the produt status turn inactive, its listing will no longer be displayed. At least, it works that way on my site. Hope this is of help.
