Adding comments to an order at checkout

Hi all,

We are building a gift store, and one of the functions we need is to allow the customer on checkout, to write a message for the gift recipient. The store owner then needs to be notified of this message when the order comes through - so that they can transfer this to a greeting card.

On checkout, I tried to put a message in the textbox "Add Comments About Your Order", but I can't seem to locate this message anywhere on the orders that the store owner receives.

Does anyone know of an easy way to achieve this feature?

Many thanks in advance!

Halltristan, have you checked the email that goes to the store owner.

The place in admin where you fill in send other emails to.

You'll find it on the confirmation email duplicate the store owner gets.

Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!!

Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience.

The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!
