Please Help with CCGV

I have the ccgv installed, when a customer enters their credit card info and the coupon code and clicks redeem, it does actually work in giving them the discount. The problem is it takes them back to that page and requires them to enter their credit card information again, which is very inconvienent for the customer. If anyone has any ideas please help as my client is getting frustrated. Thanks.

Well, b4 anyone could have any idea they would need the idea of what ccgv version youve installed.

having the same trouble here - all was fine the other night - then it stopped - if i remove the coupon code from checkout_payment.php - I can move past the payment screen and on to confirmation - as i should be able to

 

but with the coupon back in on that payment page - I keep getting redirected back to input cc info over and over again ... using CCGV (trad) - any ideas?????

also seems that it only happens if I DON'T enter a discount code - if I do enter a code, it works fine .... so if I don't add a code, I can't continue with checkout.

What payment module are you using? The credit card info (numbers etc) is normally only entered after the confirm order page.

Double check your installation.

Hi I have some probs with CCGV like other users in this post. I use osc version 2.2 MS 2, ccgv version 5.17 and (don't know if it is important but..) RMA Returns 2.5H.

 

I can't go ahead or back from the checkout_payment.php page.

can anyone that has the page that runs properly past his page code?? or no one has this contrib running? thanks

 

if no one has this contrib running.. why oscommerce staff lets the contribution online? please delete contribs that doesn't run!

i just install the contrib into a virgin osc and have the same problem. just thought i'd support the group !

 

i'm not a programmer so i'm going to move the redeem feature up the page, before the credit card details as temporary hack to get it started.

 

just an idea ! as this seems to be a common fault

it could be something re: the coupon not being valid anymore - when you are redirected back to the checkout page - scroll up to the url and copy and paste that url back here - it is most likely generating an error message in the url.
