A Few Easy Questions...

Ok, so I've got my site going fairly well. You can view the demo here: development.dotondesigns.com/shop

 

Here's my questions:

 

How do I put in an Item #? I see that a setting in admin?

 

On the frontpage, I have 4 pictures that are grayscale at the bottom of the content, shifted right. These pictures are logos for other business, but I can't find where to change the links to go to a static webpage. I've looked everywhere. Does anyone have any idea what page those pics and subsequent link would be on?

for the item# you could use the product model# field and just change "model" in page listing from languages.english.php file to say Item instead of Model

Well, it doesn't appear now, because someone decided to come through and delete stuff. So much for a helpful community. Fortunately I have their IP address in my logs, so I'll be paying them a visit.

How were you able to customize it that way?

 

I even cant login, create an account or checkout... message error: the operation timed out when attempting to connect to.. my domain....

Do you know what problem this is?

Hi Nic,

 

I bought a relatively inexpensive template to customize the site. I'm not by any means a php guru, so it saved me a lot of hassle.

 

I'm not exactly sure waht that problem would be. Can you give me your site address so I can see? Do you have ssl setup? It could be a problem going from unsecured to secure connections.
