Administration Tool

Newest Newbie in town. I just finished installing my oscommerce today. I can't find the way to access to "Administration Tool". I got to the main page of index.php under catalog, and I love Cameron Diaz there, but I would like to do something else, like adding my own products and removing the ones that I don't sell.

Can anybody help? Thanks,

I am presupposing that you used the installation program provided by your host.

Usually, osCommerce is set up in two different designs.

To reach the admin page in the first try this:

http://www.yourdomain.com/admin

If that doesn't work, try this:

http://www.yourdomain.com/catalog/admin

Or if you installed it in not your root directory try:

http://www.yourdomain.com/storedirectory/admin

or

http://www.yourdomain.com/storedirectory/catalog/admin

Good luck.

Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!!

Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience.

The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!

Thanks, yes indeed. I used the default installation from my hosting.

It looks like something is going to work. It is asking me for an user name and password, before I have access to that page. Now I have to figure which u.i. and password it is asking for.
