SSL & Missing Images in Admin

Hi,

 

I apologize for posting a topic that I KNOW has been posted before, but the search capability in these forums has proved underwhelming to finding a previous answer.

 

I've reviewed the SSL Guide for the Innocent and have seen references to this problem, but I want to capture a complete answer in a simpler post.

 

Here's what happened: after some help in getting a shared SSL certificate on ipowerweb installed, I've discovered that although my admin is now secure, that all the image links are broken. I realize this is so because the https url is confounding the path to the images. What I need to know however, is whether the fix is changing a reference in one of the config files, a style sheet (which one?), and/or a change to some other file.

 

Your help would be much appreciated. Once resolved, I will post a complete set of edits for future use to someone else.

i believe you change the paths in the configure.php files. one in your catalog, and another in catalog/admin
