megacoool Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 I just completed the installation for the osCommerce store. I just cilcked on my admistration section of the site and the catalog section and im receiving an error that states that I need to create a sessions folder. where do i create this folder?
natewlew Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 The default sessions folder is /tmp. Just create tmp in the same place your index.php is. You can also store sessions in the database. Open the /includes/configure.php and the store sessions should have mysql after it: define('STORE_SESSIONS', 'mysql'); Other great Open Source (Free) programs: (Free as in free speech not free beer) The Gimp - An image program. | Firefox - All you have to do is add the Web Developer add-on to make this web browser complete. | FileZilla - An ftp program. | Inkscape - A good program to create images with. | Thunderbird - An email program. | Openoffice.org - An office suite that is compatible with MS Office. | Abiword - Another office suite. | Audacity - A sound recording tool. | ddp's Picks | Wordpress - An easy to use blogging software. | Joomla - An easy to use CMS that has ecommerce plug-ins. | Drupal - Another CMS How do I find these programs? Google Search!
