Hello:

How can one have the Store Title banner be equal to the store width size.

ie. At

Haunted Curiosities

I have created a store banner, and replaced the default oscommerce logo by it. But I cannot get it to cover the width of the page. How can I specify the banner should cover the width of the store?

Thanks in advance.

It all depends on the size of the browser, monitor and screen resolution. Think of widescreen compared to the old 15 inch CRT's

That said, you have your banner sized at 850 wide so that's all you're gonna get - stretching it will distort the image. You need to add a small background element in blue at either side of the main banner so that it centers or just at the right side if you want it to fill out ---->.

By the way... the link you quoted is broken :(

one-click installation..

Hi.. I am building the site for someone else, and they were in a hurry to go live before all the enhancements were completed, therefore yesterday I had to repoint the domain. The website address is:

http://www.hauntedcuriosities.com

(Click on Enter if you Dare) and it will take you to the Store.

Advance Warning: Store sells unusal paranormal items. Therefore if anyone is offended by paranormal subject please do not go to the site.

I have made the banner size to 900, but as you pointed out it leaves white space at the end.

Can you let me know how I can add a background element on the right side just for the header? I am assuming I need to do something in header.php but do not know what..

I am a newbie, any help/tips is much appreciated -- thank you in advance.
