I quite like it.

 

Just in my opinion tho, coming from somebody that has never worn a Tie,

 

Maybe the categories in the left menu box could stand-out a little more.

 

On the Homepage, you have listed your full email address for questions, wouldn't it be better to link to your "contact us" page so you don't find yourself getting so much spam.

Well I've taken a look at your site and it's a good start.

 

I do have a few things that bother me:

1. The yellow color is just to flashy and a little disturbing to my delicate eyes ;-)

2. A little bit semitry: the space between the "Cards Accepted" box and the "Testimonials" box should be smaller and the same size as the other spaces.

3. The "Information" links on the left bar are a little tight, you should separate them.

4. You should have more then 6 items on a category page, because when you'll have 50-60 items then to see item 32 I should scroll through a lot of category pages, which is something that I wouldn't do.

5. I recommend installing google anlytics to track stats on your site.

 

In all it's looks good.

Hi Pete, i agree with Shaul. The yellow colour is a bit hard on the eyes, might be worth changing it to something more less glarey.

Maybe add more of a boxing to the site, this would show up edges and design better.

Looking good so far, i do like it.

Hi there,

 

1 - Your domain name sounds a tad too kinky *wink*

 

2 - Your site took nearly 30 seconds to load anything, am on dialup.

 

3 - I agree that the yellow doesn't do your site or products justice. I would do tans and beiges and browns.

 

4 - Buy A Tie Terms and Conditions - I would just name it Terms and Conditions.

 

5 - You banner isn't as sharp (image-wise) as it should be.

 

6 - Wandering through your product descriptions ... not enough details: what are they made out of, dimensions, wash care, etc .......... perhaps give suggestions as to the best times/occassions to wear them ... "this is great for formal dinners" or this one is ideal for weddings (as a guest)", etc etc
