osCommerce and MySQL Licence

Hi all,

 

I have been reading the MySql licence information.

My understanding of it would suggest to say that if I run osCommerce (which is open source) then I would not have to purchase a licence for MySQL.

The reason I ask is I am about to change to a dedicated server and I would lose the database I already have. However on the dedicated server I could install MySQL if I have the appropriate licence.

 

Does my use of osCommerce qualify for a free licence to use MySQL?

 

Anybody know a bit more on this?
