I don't understand the question. What do you mean by fixed length?

One that has no scrollbar, I suppose :P ? My question then is: is there a fixed length website on the WWW? The answer is: Yes, e.g., when there's only one page :) .

Ok Sorry. I'm kinda new at this. Here goes. You know how when you have a bunch of boxes on the left or right and however many boxes you have determines how long your page is going to be. Is there a way to just have a certain page length without having the boxes determine the length? Maybe only as long as a typical computer screen or what have you. I hope this clarifies things. Thanks -Jason-

If you set the page height to 100 px's and the total height of the boxes is 200 px's, what would be displayed? If you want, you can set the total height to 300 px's, in this example, but as soon as you add text or more products, it will probably go over the set height.

There are a couple of contributions for having a fixed _width_ website, but nothing I've seen for fixed _length_. The length sort of depends on how many products per page, how large the images are, how many categories you have, whether or not you use product_description contributions, etc.

Thanks for the info. How about this? I fixed length index page? I will make sure that the contents in the boxes on that page don't go over the fixed length. Would that work? -Jason-

I haven't tried that before, but you could either use css (like the fixed width contributions that use css) to fix the height, or put a height statement on the table.

You'd need to do some testing to see what happened in each case when the content overruns the height.

Thanks. I'm going to try it.

The only way to get your pages to NOT go beyond the bottom of the screen is to restrict the content.

Less content. Less length. Take out boxes you don't need. Leave in only those absolutely necessary. Don't be too wordy. Use small graphics.
