Lunargent Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Greetings. I tried to install OsCommerce using the shared SSL provided with my hosting account. (I know I should get a real SSL one day. However, since I have no idea if my shop is going to work, and the only online payment I accept are remote Paypal, I don't believe it to be essential, at least for the time being. So, please, don't answer "Get a real SSL certificate, you noob".) My main (http) directory is "http://www.lunargent.com/catalog" My secure directory is "https://secure2secure.com/lunargent". All of this is properly configured in my configuration files. All I want to secure is the checkout (the admin will be behind an .htaccess) .(If you can tell me how to get the admin part secured too, that could be nice.) First thing that happened, is that at checkout, the programs calls for some files (checkout.php, for example) on the server and the request fails. I put those files on the server, but now I end up with a problem connecting to the base. I presume this is because I used "localhost" which becomes false when called from the remote secure server. Could you tell what files need to be placed on the remote secure server? What changes do I need to do for it to properly work? Thanks.
Lunargent Posted October 23, 2006 Author Posted October 23, 2006 I already did quite a few searches (2h+ of reading) but I can't find anything that helps. Any help would be welcome.
