dazzaos Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 hello i have installed the latest version of oscommerce without using any contributions all went well apart from when i try to change the flate rate shipping amount. the amount always defaults to 5.00 when i wish to change this to 10.00, i have altered it using the admin edit section but it still just stays the same rate of 5.00 i can not see any reason for this as i have another shop which uses oscommerce and in the back admin section you can change with no problems. is it a bug with the newversion? Would it be a permmissions problem i have changed the permissions on the file relating to flat.php but to no avail. does anyone know where i can find the value defined so i can edit manually? or Are there any better contributions i can install to allow me to fix this problem? please help i need this fixed asap. many thanks p.s. i have search the forum for this problem and havent found any related topics so please forgive me if this has already been answered somewhere i have not seen.....
kagg Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 Remove the module through admin, activate it again and edit the flat rate. Check it still defaults to 5.00. Do you have any other shipping module activated in your shop?
