lsamp Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I have searched the forum and found a couple of solutions for changing the link colors for the left column, but they are not working for me. Perhaps it's because I've already modified the files some. Can someone please help? Here is the link to the site I am working on: http://70.103.16.169/~kickerfi/shop/# I have already modified the catalog/includes/boxes/categories.php so it would list the Categories and Products like it does on the site now. I have also played around alot with the Stylesheet and nothing works! I need the links in the left column to be black without affecting the link color on the rest of the site. Here is the catalog/includes/boxes/categories.php code: <?php /* $Id: categories.php,v 1.25 2003/07/09 01:13:58 hpdl Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright ? 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ function tep_show_category($counter) { global $tree, $categories_string, $cPath_array; for ($i=0; $i<$tree[$counter]['level']; $i++) { $categories_string .= " "; } $categories_string .= '<span class="type5"><a href="'; if ($tree[$counter]['parent'] == 0) { $cPath_new = 'cPath=' . $counter; } else { $cPath_new = 'cPath=' . $tree[$counter]['path']; } $categories_string .= tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $cPath_new) . usernamenone Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 It is in your style sheet A { color: #990000; text-decoration: none; } A:hover { color: #FFCC00; text-decoration: underline; }
lsamp Posted October 23, 2006 Author Posted October 23, 2006 It is in your style sheet A { color: #990000; text-decoration: none; } A:hover { color: #FFCC00; text-decoration: underline; } I tried that, but it changes the colors for links on the entire site. I only need the left column links to change. Thanks!
usernamenone Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 You need to create a new class and add that class to the code in boxes/categories.php where the <a href part is added. Change it to <a class="newclass" href. I tried that, but it changes the colors for links on the entire site. I only need the left column links to change. Thanks!
