Secure and unsecure items on page

Hello,

After one month of getting the web site ready or what I thought was ready the create account.php has now decided to show secure and unsecure items creating a pop up to appear with an error message in I.E. I went live over the weekend and have over 40 unique hits without even one registering an account, I know that this may not be down to the pop-up error but it doesn't help either. I was wondering if someone can take a look at the page and tell me what is causing the error to appear. https://personaliseyourgift.com/create_account.php and give advise on what I need to do to stop this.

Thanks in advance

Very nice website. The Details button could be a different color though to match your store. Take a look at this article, i think it may help you with your problem.

this is wrong:

<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
_uacct = "UA-819968-1";
urchinTracker();
</script>

should be something like:

		<?php
	// osCoders.biz - Analystics - start
	/*
	Conditional code added thank to rrodkey and bfcase
	IMPORTANT -- IMPORTANT - IMPORTANT
	You'll need to update the "xxxx-x" in the samples (twice) above with your own Google Analytics account and profile number.
	To find this number you can access your personalized tracking code in its entirety by clicking Check Status in the
	Analytics Settings page of your Analytics account.
	*/
	 if ($request_type == 'SSL') {
	?>
	 <script src="https://ssl.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
	 </script>
	 <script type="text/javascript">
	   _uacct="UA-XXXXXX-X";
	   urchinTracker();
	 </script>
	<?php
	} else {
	?>
	 <script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
	 </script>
	 <script type="text/javascript">
	   _uacct="UA-XXXXXX-X";
	   urchinTracker();
	 </script>
	<?
	}
	// osCoders.biz - Analistics - end
	?>

After 'going live" you won't necessarily get traffic and lots of customer signups. How are you marketing your site? How are you getting the word out that your site exists?

Hi Jared,

Currently I am using Google Adwords Targeting Keywords, I have submitted the URL to countless free search engines and business directories and have put my URL on the signature of about 5 forums (one which is on eBay) I have also installed SEO URL'S and header tags contributions. Is there something more I should be doing? as I would really like to make the site my main source of income. thanks in advance

Chris

P.S I will take any advice :thumbsup:

Chris, it sounds like you have a good idea of what needs to be done. Now comes the hardest part: Patience. You might get a little extra traction by getting your site mentioned on a popular blog or two, but usually it takes a bit of time before you'll see improvements in search engine rankings and traffic. Sometimes you'll see a difference within a few weeks, sometimes it takes longer.

Anything you can do to differentiate yourself from your competition will help, so you're unique, not one of the many who sell what you sell.

Good luck!
