Question re: putting items on special by category

We use osCommerce 2.2-MS2 for our shopping cart program. We have many items in each category so when we want to put all the items in a category on special, it can be very time consuming and confusing.

 

Is there a way for me to put all items in a category on special (as long as they all have the same special parameters (20% off or the same cost)?

 

I've looked around at the support site for an answer to my problem but, can't find it yet. I'm not even certain it can be done but if the option doesn't exist yet, I think it would be a great extra to add one day.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Because you have to look in the contributions.

Searching for "specials category" whould have yielded Admin Specials by Categories on the first page of search results.
