url redirect needed

Hi all

 

I am looking for a simple redirect which will direct customers to the manufacturers urls that appear on the product info pages. I know i could use htaccess but am unsure of the code. I know simple redirects with htaccess but am unsure of how to redirect the products to manufacturs url without making the directs 1 by 1.

something like this but only this does not work example " RedirectMatch /product_info.php /products_url_1 " this would be placed within my htaccass file without quotes

when you are in admin go to manufacturers and edit the manufacturers you have got by clicking "edit" then on the left you will see "name" "image" & "url" enter the manufacturers URL there and when a customer clicks on the manufascturers image they will be directed to their homepage! hope this helps.

Please if i needed basics i would have started with the manual this is just the most obvious answer and is not what i am looking for.

 

The URLs are already there within the product_info pages I need to create an auto redirect that would direct customers to the URL given in the manufacturers URL.

 

Please no basic obvious answers just clogging the forums with junk
