Or vice-versa?

I have an existing site in php, with left hand menu navigation. I now want to add oscommerce - I've got oscommerce setup on a test domain so have had a little tinker, but am a bit unsure which way to integrate the site and oscommerce - which would be best, to try and integrate the existing site into oscommerce templates, or the other way round?

I prefer to apply the design you ahve for your site to osCommerce and then readd your formerly static pages as infopages via osCommerce. There are several content management contributions for osCommerce, depending on the style of info you need (articles, news, events, infopages)

I'd tend to agree. I find it easier to modify osC to manage the entire site. I'm sure you'd be able to incorporate your existing php into osC without much difficulty.

NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit.

If you have a question about any of my posts here, your best bet is to contact me though either Email or PM in my profile, and I'll be happy to help.
