I am going to create a fully complient XHTML (strict) and CSS shopping cart with OSCommerce, I just need to know which files I need to edit.

It really depends what you want o change on the layout of it. There are alot of files that do different things.

 

Index.php - changes the very middle part of the main page.

includes/header.php - controls the very top

includes/footer.php - changes the very bottom

includes/column_left.php - changes the very left column

includes/column_right.php - changes the very right column

includes/boxes/???.php - changes the boxes that will appear in the left and right columns

 

there are many more, thats the important ones.
