PayPal Item Name

Hi All,

 

When a user is taken to paypal once they have selected their product from my site, it dosnt list what item they purchase instead is say my website name x 1 item...

 

How can i get my website to forward the item name to paypal?

I'm having the same problem. I have a number of CDs for sale at www.timwilsonamerica.com, known as The Mall Of Tim Wilson America.

When a customer buys "Tuned Up" for example, the PayPal email comes back with the product listed as The Mall Of Tim Wilson America.

I know I can get the listing from the report module, but what do I need to change to get the name of the product in the PayPal receipt.

Hi, i have a similar problem. None of the information is being transfered to Paypal, not even the amount.

This is happening on my 2 sites.

 

I have been posting here on the forum for the last week trying to find the answer and i know of others with the same problem.

 

Does this mean that everyone using the Paypal system has no details being passed to paypal.

Are we doing something wrong.

 

Someone must be able to help please ......

Hi LisaC, Thanks for the reply. I have had a look at this contribution which looks good, but i don't think it will sort out my problem where i am getting no information going over to Paypal at all.

 

Any ideas....
