Sub options

I've inherited a a new osCommerce store from someone who didn't finish it. It's a gift business that does custom gift boxes where there are standard items in the box, then optional items that you can include. No problem until you get something like adding a personalized bracelet that comes in 4 sizes and 12 colors. How do I add these "sub" options?

For adding 4 sizes and 12 Colors in the list boxes as in the site u mentioned do the following.

1- goto ur admin section

click catalog->look at left box->under catalog heading ->click product attributes->below in the en,de,es textboxes,under product options heading enter Colors->click insert.

2- After insertion u will see Colors in the above listing with its index number, now look at the right side Option Values heading there will be a list box present with some value, click on that list box and select Colors that u previously added, Now enter here the value for Colors in the 3 textboxes like Red, then click insert.

3- After 2nd Insertion look at the bottom of ur page under Product Attributes heading, this is the list of those products on which certain attributes are applied, IN the first list box present at the bottom select the product (identified by its name, product name) on which u want attribute to be applied, In the select listbox select the attribute like Colors as we added it, In the third list box select its value like Red, then click insert.

 

Follow the same procedure for other.
