Cart Disappeared

I am getting this message whenever anyone tries to access the OSCommerce cart.

 

Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory.

 

I have checked both configuration and htaccess and I do not see any mention of "register_globals".

What am i missing?
