No products in the dropdown menu on Specials page in Admin

The title says it all.

 

I tried to put a product on special through the admin.

 

Everything seems fine except that there is nothing in the "product" drop down menu.

 

Does anybody have any idea?

 

i have checked admin/specials.php... to no avail.

I have a few contribs installed among which "fixed price for different currencies".

I added a few specials without selecting a product (because I can't).

 

The database table "specials" has all the specials I enter but the product_id field is always equal to zero.

If I replace that value with a valid product id number, the product shows up as a special in my store.

 

 

 

More info:

 

Since I have "fixed prices for different currencies" installed, the prices in the "products" table all show zero. The real prices are in another table called "fixed prices".

 

Can this be the reason why the products don't show up in the dropdown menu?

I manually input a price in the "product price" field in the "products" table.

 

Still nothing in the dropdown menu :(
