ashrafzia Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Its bcoz of not having SSL. You must install SSL for security issues and encryption of sensitive DATA like Credit Card No. You can buy it from a company. Visit www.instantssl.com for more. Turn off SSL for the time being by the following method to get rid of the error. 1- Open catalog/admin/includes/configure.php find define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'true'); // secure webserver for catalog module change define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false'); // secure webserver for catalog module Ashraf Zia

I am only going to be accepting paypal will this make any difference
Chris Smith Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 excellent, thanks a million. I am only going to be accepting paypal will this make any difference If I go to a web site thats wants me to enter my personal details and they don't have a SSL then I and I predict most people will click the little red box in the top right hand corner with the X in and never never go back. So I would say that although you are going to use PayPal a SSL is not just for payments and yes you should get yourself a SSL. Chris

Any ideas! :'( thanks dave I'm having the same problem, but only when you first log into the website for the very first time. I do have SSL. For example if you log into this website Ziabeads.com and click on check out or acocunt, you get a blank page, BUT!, if you refresh it loads? Do think this has to do with cookies?I do need SSL, the customer will be using visa.
