subzerostudio Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I'm setting up an oscommerce store on easyspace (I normally use 1&1). Easyspaces SSL space is set up via fasthosts. Weird thing is that they give you FTP access to the site. Normally I don't get FTP access when setting up SSL - the https part of the site is just magically mirrored (maybe someone on this form can explain how it does this?) So the fact that I've got ftp access to the shared SSL part of the site - does this mean i'm going to need to duplicate the entire site on there to get it to work properly? Or is there an easier way of doing it? Cheers mike
digbydo Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 did you ask easyspace? [easier way] - go direct through fasthosts? one-click installation.. Dave's info
subzerostudio Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 did you ask easyspace? [easier way] - go direct through fasthosts? I have tried asking easyspace, their helpdesk is appalling. I was just wondering if anyone on this forum has encountered this problem before?
