tokomaxi Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I tried editing PHP code (../includes/application_top.php) in folder includes by doing it online... but I can't edited the code directly in file manager, I tried with uploaded again, application_top.php into includes folder... but nothing happens. it was a message erorr came up at the top of the page like this: Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/maxifoto/public_html/toko/includes/application_top.php any 1 can help me pls? :( :( :(
martinstan Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 It sounds like you need to give the file read, write permissions. If you are using a hosts control panel there should be something like a 'security' or file permission tab. You should be able to select this particular file in a directory tree and give it write permission. Hope this helps Martin

Really sorry I've been out all day. Cpanel hosting? I've used that before I think. You need to go to file manager, click on the file, then down the right hand column you can set file permission to something like 777. Hope this works for you. Martin
