relkeel Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Just starting to discover the joys of OsCommerce as a customer has asked for help with their website. My immediate requirement is to find a way to extract all the names and addresses of customers from the site database for use locally. My background is entirely Microsoft based (but please don't hold that against me!) so have no real idea where to start. I have access to the site admin control panel but can see no way to get what I need. Do I have to download the database to a local machine and then query the database? What tools are recommended to do this? Told you I was a complete newbie. Thanks for any help/clues/pointers. relkeel
daz_75 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 you should be able to get to phpmyadmin via the control panel. You could run some quieries against the database to extract the info you need. Don't ask me what though as i don't know mysql
