floppy Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 How to realize that header.php does not reload itself again and again when navigation through the page? On my page i put a flash in the header for testing: http://www.elpdistribution.com/shop/index.php?cPath=30 if you click there on another link, e.g. "Week 40" the flash starts again from beginning. But i want that the flash plays the whole time, even if i navigate through the page. So how to stop this header.php reload issue? i tried this thread and that thread and this one but nothing worked for me :(
djmonkey1 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I think you would have to load the pages via AJAX or use frames. Do, or do not. There is no try. meto Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Hello, Perhaps, its a longshot, do you put the flashmovie on the index page.
floppy Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 Hello, Perhaps, its a longshot, do you put the flashmovie on the index page. It doesn't matters if its in index.php or header.php - it reloads in both of them. I think you would have to load the pages via AJAX or use frames. I put it in frames once but i had much problems with the scrollbars - from one browser to another it was moved to the side so that head and content wasn't in one "line". So a clear "no" to frames. Yeah, AJAX could be the solution for me but i really know nothing about it, i just read some infos about in the net but i have no clue how to intigrate it in the oscommerce page. Any hints for me?
