How do i add a password to my admin pannel? This is a one munite thing to do - even if it is not stated in your ts & cs with the person you hired. You can either use a .htaccess file to protect the admin folder, details of which could be found in the knowledge base (after installation) of oscommerce. Or you can password protect it by using the file system in your site control panel. How to do this varies depending on what cp your site uses. GemRock Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 You could also change the name of the admin folder to something that is not easy to guess, but to do this you must also change the admin folder referred to in configure.php file under admin/includes/. a combination of password & changing name is the best.
