Is there a way to remove a cPath link from showing up in catergory menu

Is there a way to remove a cPath link from showing up in the links.

 

 

eg:

 

If I have a directory called eggs which has a cpath=21 and a sub directory called chickens eggs cPath=21_23.

 

I would like to stop eggs or it subdirectories from being shown in the catorgories,php menu in catalog/includes/boxes

 

any other link in my shop is fine to be produced.

 

 

Any Ideas or Pointers would be appreciated.
