Database Configuration Error

I keep getting,

 

You have an error in your SQL syntax near '-_oscommerce' at line 1

 

 

What have I done wrong

Did you define a prefix for the table names e.g. _oscommerce?

 

Or does your hosts database setup use something different than what you think it is e.g. you set up a database and called it oscommerce, but in reality the control panel refers to it as yourdomain_com_-_oscommerce - which is what you need to use when you run the install. If you did a manual install then you need to update both configure.php files.

I have input the databse name as "thetartanbox_com_-_oscommerce" the way the setup with my host names it.

 

Do I have to change some thing else now?
