fgjb2k1 Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I guess I messed up my posting... I am having problems with packages on my cart. If I order several items that are over 150 lbs I get a upsxml error that it exceeds the package weight. I can't get it to start another package. Does this have something to do with dimension support? If so I can set up support but I don't have dimension info for all my products. Quote

I think the forum was loosing connection with the database that time...I am having problems with packages on my cart. If so I can set up support but I don't have dimension info for all my products. In principle standard osC does not even look at the weight of individual items. It only looks at the total weight of the items in the order, does it thing with tare weight and then divides that weight by the "maximum package weight you will ship" that is set in the admin to decide how many boxes are needed. That (shipping weight/number of boxes) is then used to tell UPS how many boxes of what weight is being shipped (standard way, not the dimension supported way). UPS does not accept boxes with a weight that is over 150 lbs or 70 kg. Quote
