blah-blah-blah Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 A HUGE thank to the makers of this contribution! Not that you made it to make mY life easier, but I'm certainly telling myself that..lol... If you have been having issues with easy populate try this instead.. It's WAY Faster and much easier to make the spreadsheets... Oh.. I'm in love here. THANK YOU!!! You Rock!

ComicWisdom Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Hi, Can you point me in the direction of this contribution please? Thanks  It is easier than easy populate, but it depends how how complex your products are. I use it in some shops that use limited field. In shops with options and attributes, Easy Populate is the way to go. Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!! Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience. The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!

I continue getting the error message below, despite naming all the rows accordingly: 1054 - Unknown column 'products_subimage1' in 'field list' insert into products (products_quantity,products_model, products_image, products_subimage1, products_subimage2, products_subimage3, products_subimage4, products_subimage5, products_subimage6, products_price,products_date_added, products_last_modified,products_date_available,products_weight,products_status,p roducts_tax_class_id,manufacturers_id)values(100,'7.33739E+11','','','','','','','','9.99','2006-11-14','2006-11-14','2006-11-14','1','1',0,13)
macombmarineparts Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Can anyone assist with adding the field that MVS uses? Thanks
tny681 Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 I have had great success in uploading my entire excel database of products into my webstore. My issue now is how to get the photographs of each item uploaded and attached to the correct item in bulk as well. I have the url's of each image in my spreadsheet and/or have them in a folder in my public_html folder. Does anyone know how to do this in bulk? (I have 6500 items to do this one by one will be impossible!). Thanks for your help.
