A HUGE thank to the makers of this contribution! Not that you made it to make mY life easier, but I'm certainly telling myself that..lol...

If you have been having issues with easy populate try this instead.. It's WAY Faster and much easier to make the spreadsheets... Oh.. I'm in love here.

THANK YOU!!!

You Rock!

It is easier than easy populate, but it depends how how complex your products are. I use it in some shops that use limited field. In shops with options and attributes, Easy Populate is the way to go.

Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!!

Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience.

The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!

Our products are quite complex (attributes etc)...

To be on the safe side I will leave this for now...

thanks :)

It's called Excel Import 1.51

The only down side it that it does not do product attributes. But at least it works..lol.. I never could get easy populate installed correctly. This one was much easier!

Say, would anyone have to happen a sample copy of the Excel file they used? I continue getting the error message below, despite naming all the rows accordingly:

I have had great success in uploading my entire excel database of products into my webstore. My issue now is how to get the photographs of each item uploaded and attached to the correct item in bulk as well. I have the url's of each image in my spreadsheet and/or have them in a folder in my public_html folder. Does anyone know how to do this in bulk? (I have 6500 items to do this one by one will be impossible!). Thanks for your help.
