I've been working on a project and I'm wondering if I should launch it as the author of osCommerce did so. I want to make atleast some compensation off of my work... Any thoughts/knowledge on GPL/GNU Open Source projects and compensation would be greatly appreciated. :D

Whatever money I have made off of my contributions barely begins to cover the hundreds of hours put into creating and updating them. You can create a contribuiton and charge for it, but it cannot be posted here. Once posted here, it is available for anyone to use and change as they like.
