Hi folks,

It has been a while I kept the catalog folder in a backup disk. Now, I wanted to restore this backup catalog to my newly setup XAMPP and PHPMYADMIN system (latest version).

Here where I get stuck after the XAMPP new version and phpmyadmin has intalled and running correctly!

I can't find the object or URL from the XAMPP server ERROR message shows, after I typed in http://localhost:8080/catalog/install/

I had tried both ways of restoring by:

1. copy the catalog folder back to c:/apachefriends/xampp/htdocs/ where I stopped developed last spring.

then, I tried http://localhost:8080/catalog/index.php, it fail to find the object or url Error message shows

NOTE: this catalog folder is without 'install' folder in it, where I deleted for secure purposes while developing.

In this case I tried another solution, and I restore the osc original catalog where I downloaded from osc website last spring into c:/apachefriends/xampp/htdocs (this catalog folder is with 'install' folder in it)

1. Now I type in http://localhost:8080/catalog/install/ , I wish to setup start from the beginning...

Again, same Error message come out saying object or URL is not found in Xampp server.

NOTE: XAMPP server is running, phpmyadmin is running and I created a new database with grant privillages

I just about to get the catalog folder put back into c:/apachefriends/xampp/htdocs/ and restore them back to the original state like last time, however, the program seems giving me a hard time to restore them.

Anybody can help here??

Thanks
