ComicWisdom Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 All of a sudden this morning, without any action on my part, a movie rental site I host is listing double of every movie. The first listing has the picture on it. Then right under it, the movie is listed again, but this time without the picture. I have already replaced my index.php with a fresh copy. Any ideas on this when would greatly releive my confusion. I have also checked the db. Could find no errors in either place. Of course, that doesn't mean I didn't look right through them. Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!! Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience. The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!
ComicWisdom Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 I'm ebarrassed now! :blush: I used execl import to change all the prices yesterday. I exported everything. Changed the prices. Then reimported everything. I didn't notice it until this morning. I made an "@$#" of myself by assuming because the stock number on each was different that the new upload would follow the stock number and over-write what was there. It didn't. It duplicated them. I guess I have a long hand edit coming. And learned something as well.... As Charlie Brown's Linus would say, "Sigh..Mumble..Groan..."
