Character Set...change them because of rss

Recommended Posts

of couse i could change the encoding of the whole site to UTF-8. Then the feed would be displayed correctly too.

but: i have two feeds, the other one is ISO-8859. if i change the character set of the whole site to UTF-8, then the ISO8859 encoded feed is displayed in a wrong way. for example an "?" would be to "?"...

so is it generally possible to convert the rss feed..? i use the contribution RSSREADER 2.0.

i searched the web an found this parser:

which aggregates different languages, as far as i can tell that as a newbie...

any suggestions?

Jupiters, I believe I *might* have seen a version with ISO8859 in it.

YOu'll have to go back through the older versions (Before the advertised RSS feed is in UTF-8), find one with ISO in it, and copy that code to the newer version.

If it's not there, at least you'll know what part of the code needs to be changed. Good Luck
