Guest Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Hello, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with this. Everytime I try to get a product "feed" available to upload to, oh, let's say, froogle, I get an "improper format" or "header missing" error. I've tried using a few different contributions where you go through the admin pannel, enter your username, password, and txt file but I must be doing something wrong to get these errors. I've tried to create my own product list, using the export options for products and product_descriptions through mysqladmin (csv for excel option) and it just isn't pulling all of the information needed for these feeds. I was hoping that a ROR Feed generator would help but it requires that darn text file as well. Maybe I'm tired and missing something really simple, but can anyone please tell me how to get a text file of the products (and all important information needed) off my website? Thank you! ~Shelly www.themoorecollection.com
Guest Posted October 15, 2006 Posted October 15, 2006 Well, I figured it out on my own... So if anyone else has this problem: Make sure your settings for your server, as listed in your config file, are exactly the same as the ones listed in the 'feed' files. "Localhost" settings don't always work... heh.
