Guest Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 One of my categories is only showing the subcategories directly under the category listing in the left column only, and the subs aren't showing in the center section. All other category listings are showing correctly. It has been like this for ages & I would really like to figure out how to fix this. It is this category: http://www.drhfinegifts.com/aromatherapy-b...ody-c-2021.html When you click it you get the message: There are no products to list in this category. However, they show up on the left column. Anyone have a clue how to fix? Do I need to delete it and re-add it? Thanks! Denise
digbydo Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 not too sure just what you've done but most of your products are linked as, for example: http://www.drhfinegifts.com/french-vanilla...3543_13544.html whereas normally you'd get a php file as in: https://hostcms.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=1 which is interogating the database... suspect it's either a contribution or a template issue... :( one-click installation.. Dave's info
Guest Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I have other categories, such as Men's Gift Sets, which are entirely linked products and I don't have the same issue as with the Aromatherapy category. I have a feeling I will need to delete the category and rebuild it unless someone else has a solution.
digbydo Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 sorry but that is one heck of a wierd site... jumps from http to https (without the certificate) and most products, even men's gift sets displayed as html pages. [repeat] not too sure just what you've done [/repeat] good luck.. :) one-click installation.. Dave's info
Guest Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 It is only https when someone is logged into their account or goes to a secure page, such as account.php. Not all pages need to be secure since there is no personal info on them all! I have Chemo's SEO URLS contrib unstalled which rewrites the URLs to html for better SEO. It has really helped with the search engines - maybe you should try it out.
