Submitting to Search engines

I was reading the blurb for one of those websites that you can pay money to and they will submit your site to every known search engine and it had different levels of submission. Gold and Platinum levels said that they would submit your site monthly.

 

Do I need to keep submiting my site monthly?

I have only ever submitted the sites i have done once and i don't really think i neeed to do that!

 

Google, yahoo, MSN and others will soon find your site as long as you have the robots.txt file set up correctly

 

Google themselves will tell you that they will find your site but feel free to submit it

There shouldn't be a need to submit monthly. Once the bots starting picking up on your site, they will come back often to catch your latest info.

 

Personally, I believe it is a waste of money to order one of those services.
