Uk Shipping help im at my wits end !!!!!!

Hi 1st of all i would like to say thank you for having me as a member on this invaluble site :thumbsup:

 

Currently i have the Royal Mail shipping contribution installed on my site

the problem i am facing is if the weight of the item goes above 1kg the first class shipping method shows up as 0.00 giving them free shipping the rest of the prices for shipping are correct.So its only the 1st class option that needs looking at i have read on some forums that you need to install a courier aswell or take off the limits. I am very new to oscommerce so im not sure on how to do this. I tried myself to install the City Link Courier but when i try check out i cannot see the courier check out anywhere

 

I would be very gratfull if someone could help me get this working. Ill even buy you a drink through Paypal B)

The new courier module should be in your admin section. You need to install it and set it up so that it is as you want it.

Hi Josh,

I too am at my wits end! However, when you install the couriers, they won't show up unless you'e not remove the limits for royal mail. This means that an order for 10kg, will then be sent via courier. I gave up on it, and settled for a flat table instead, which cured my specific problem.... May be worth trying.... Good luck
