Help! Adding new products, old pics being bumped

Hi All,

As I add new products to my site, the old pictures that were up on the homepage are going away. For example, I had 4 pics of items up and I added 3 new items. The homepage now shows the 3 newest items and one of the old 4 pics. My question: how can I determine what shows up on the homepage?
