Hi Folks

I ve bought a go daddy Turbo SSL certifacte, i have a blue host account for the server space, i have contact blue host in order to install the go daddy certificate, blue host has installed the certifcate in my bluehost account, and they have said the SSL certifcate can be accessed from https://www.skyimports.co.uk

the problem is i have enabled SSL certifcate on configure files both in Admin folder and catalog folder, the padlock is showing up and working great but i have noticed by clicking on the padlock that, the certifcate that is being used by the website, is the standard bluehost Shared SSL caetificate. AND NOT my godaddy SSL certificate.

how can the SSL certifcate be enabled, which a purchased from godaday and not use the Shared SSL certificate

any help would be appretiated.

thanks

It sounds like your configure files are set up incorrectly. That is where the certificate is selected.

I'm having some problems with GoDaddy's SSL too.

GoDaddy doesn't have their own SSL they share someone else's.

There are only a handful of companies that actually create the certificates. They sell them to companies like godaddy for resell. This is what a lot of people don't understand. If you are paying $50 for a certificate from one company and $20 for one from godaddy, odds are, you are buying the same certificate. You are just being overcharged for the $50 one.

how do you enable the Go daddy SSL, as far as i know you just need to change the HTTPS_SERVER to https://www.skyimports.co.uk

and HTTPS_COOKIES TO SAME AS ABOVE, in both configuration files for admin and Catalog. well thats what ive done but it enables the SHARED SSL form my hosting provider. and am sure there is something else to do that i do not know of, well i cant find the answer to.

thanks for replies so far.
