I installed the USPS shipping module on my site but it gives me an error on the checkout process. Should I need to edit the usps.php to correct the problem?

I tried everything listed everywhere, including wiping and reinstalling... and finally I stumbled across a post where someone suggested enterting "password" in the password field (which I had previously left empty).

 

Holy smokes, it worked!

 

So if you haven't tried that yet, it's worth 15 seconds of your time :-)

I have tried that many times, but it still didn't work.

 

Did you put something in the file itself? I tried it too. But I just don't know where is the right place to put it. Because it gives the same "error".

Do you have other suggestion?

 

I want to try anything, just using the zone modules in the meantime.
