redfoxmedia Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 Just wondering if anyone has encountered the same problem as me, and if so, can anyone help? I have installled easy populate and when I first uploaded our catalogue, it worked beautifully... but now I need to make some updatesd and I am running into a problem. I can download the complete txt file, but when I open it in excel, it opens with errors - I have figured out what this problem is, excel only supports 256 columns, and obviously my data contains more than 256.. Does anyone know how I can gert around this?
Jack_mcs Posted October 12, 2006 Posted October 12, 2006 You probably can't. It is a limit of excel. There are settings in the easy populate file to limit the product attributes but that will prevent you from loading attributes. There is a way of bypassing the limit and is explained on MicroSofts support page. I've never tried it though so I can't say if it works.
