Is there a way to make email non mandatory??

Is there a way to make email non mandatory during checkout?? Because I'm going to use it in a call center so must of the orders are going to be taken over the phone and there is no need for email.

you could go to the table "customers" through phpmyadmin and change the customers_email_address field from "not null" to "null".
