Dragonkeeper Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I have installed the Drop Shadow contribution and it is working fine but for one little problem. The background of the jpg files used to create the shadow effect are in white and the background of my pages is a different color. How can I change the background colors of the shadow files to match my store? Would I have to create all new files or can I modify the exisiting files or is there a setting somewhere with the osc files that I can modify to do this? Thanks if you can help.
ComicWisdom Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I have no idea how the drop shadow contribution works, but.... Why do't you just add the drop shadow to your graphic in a graphic program? Are you talking a lot of graphics or just one or two? Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!! Remember, learning is a "do-it-yourself" experience; although, not necessarily a "do-it-BY-yourself" experience. The quickest way to learn is to forget to BACKUP!

Maybe you can wake someone up to your problem by posting to it. or PMing someone on the list. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93700 Just between us, remember there are only 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't!! itztba Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 i have used it, and since then removed it. :( For the exact same reason. I am thinking about making a transparent version of the drop shadows so that way it works for any site. However i have been away from home and all my toys so im ill equipped at the moment.
