Guest Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 After trawling the enormous number of threads in this forum, googling and searching to the n'th degree, I've failed to find an answer to this question; I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter. I've just installed the PayPal IPN contribution ( http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2679 ). I want to enable Encrypted Web Payments. I have seen this thread ( http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=166092 ), and understand how to generate the public and private keys. However, my site already has a Geotrust Premium SSL paid for, in place and working. These are my questions: 1) If I generate a public/private key using openSSL, will it effect my exisiting SSL certificate (currently used for https:// etc.) in any way? 2) After generating the keys, can they be stored in a subdirectory of the 'catalog' folder, or do they need embedding deep in the server's root directory/alongside my Geotrust SSL key (wherever that may be)? Thanks in advance for your time and effort in answering this question, and to all those that have made this forum a very useful resource. Quote
