Hi,

I'm trying to build a site and hopefully osCommerce can satisfy the requirement (it fufills 90% of what is needed) but I've searched through the contributions and can't find one that appears to do what I need it to but if there is one there, apologies.

Basically, what i need is to satisfy the following order process:

1. Customer walks into a store and ask the branch manager for a product

2. Branch manager opens up the oscommerce store in front of the customer (branch manager logs in)

3. The Branch manager finds the customers account (using an account identification code) and proceeds to order

4. The branch manager orders the products required right through to checkout.

5. Payment is taken offline

6. The order then goes through to the companies head office (I've found the xml output contribution)

The customer will need to be able to either be 'pre-registered' or registered on the spot by the branch manager.

I suppose the functionality I need is for the branch manager to be able to see all accounts for customers registered to his branch and then order 'on behalf of' them.

Does anyone know if this or something similar exists or is even possible?

Many Thanks for reading

there is a contrib for this, something along the lines of allow admin to login as customer. I just spent 10 mins looking for it but I couldn't find it unfortunately

Many Thanks for looking. I was sure I'd seen something like it but just couldn't find it.

I'll have another search around

Thanks again

Thanks Chris, they certainly look useful for the adding accounts in admin that I require but not sure if they can handle the ordering process.

I have found this that seems to handle the ordering process but I'm getting a lot of errors when trying to install it.

If I get it to work it could be the answer to my needs

Thanks again

For anyone who may need this in future, once you get the security setting sorted (it seems to only run on a server where ssl is installed) this is a brilliant contribution.

It enable you to complete orders or take orders offline (i.e. phone) and go through the order process on behalf of the client.
